Firefighter Brothers United is a branch of GarciaWilde Ministries. In early 2014, we headed to Mexico for our first training mission to the small town of San Ignacio, located about halfway down Baja. After our first year of training down in the southern part of Baja, and taking as much gear, tools, hose, and equipment as possible, the word spread like wildfire across the Baja Peninsula.
Since then, we have established training throughout the Southern part of Baja with basic firefighter skills to advanced. We also were able to take down a “Type-I” engine, rescue truck and a command vehicle, and a huge surplus of tools, equipment, gear and power tools.
In 2016, the Fire Chief of San Jose del Cabo contacted me, requesting help in the means of training, gear and equipment. The Chief brought his firefighters to our first annual firefighter muster “a ten-hour drive” hosted at the El Beleo Mine in Santa Rosalia! Our great friendship had started!
The Chief and I sat down and brainstormed a way to get the word out across Mexico and the US to gather as much gear, equipment, tools and apparatus as we can and get it transported down to Baja. We also wanted to get the word out for the extreme importance of training for the bomberos.
Our main goal was to distribute the items donated to the departments in order of priority to provide service to their towns. The same thing will apply to any apparatus that is donated.
After three years of hard work and perseverance, GarciaWilde Ministries established a 501(c)(3) status and developed Firefighter Brothers United under the umbrella of our ministry.
Our main mission is to show the Love of Christ and to spread the Word of God to all of our extended family down in Bala, Mexico. We do this through our training, providing tools, equipment, gear and apparatus.
We also need instructors who are willing to travel down to Baja, MX to help us share our expertise and knowledge to our brothers and sisters of the firefighter brotherhood!
Please feel free to contact myself or Ivan if you are interested in receiving a donation, donating or participating as an instructor.

I Am A Fireman’s Wife
The table’s set, the meals prepared Our guests will soon arrive.
My husband once more disappears With a hope of keeping a child alive.
While waiting at home alone, Our plans having gone away,
My first impulse is merely to sit right down and cry,
But soon again I realize the importance of my life,
When I agreed to take on the duties Of being a fireman’s wife,
While there are many drawbacks, I’ll take them in my stride.
Knowing “My Daddy saved a life” Our children can say with pride.
The gusty winds and raging flames
May be his final fate.
But with God’s help I can remain
My fireman’s faithful mate...
